Yeah right! Apparently, a friend of Amy Winehouse has said that she is now determined to clean herself up after a United Nations substance abuse expert said that the UK was not hard enough on celebrities who take drugs.
The pal said, “She’s been wanting to beat drugs for a long time, but having UN bigwigs tear into her behaviour was the last straw. She was really embarrassed by all the fuss and it made her realise how people may be looking at her and thinking drugs were OK because she was doing them.” Actually it’s probably saved a few peoples lives once they saw what they could turn into!
The girl is an embarrassing mess and I am for one am ashamed that she is what she is. So many people praised her on her performance at the Grammys, well it was crap, she couldn’t sing had a completely different beat going on in her head, wherever that was, to everyone else and she looked awful. She should just disappear until she does clean herself up so that we don’t have to keep seeing her day after day, looking wrecked and emaciated.

I’ve loved her voice since her first album and was sad to see her hooked on drugs. When I heard “Someone To Watch Over Me” on YouTube, I was doubly sad that she may have harmed her incredible vocal gift. Check it out and root for her recovery!
