Having seen his employers at the BBC  issue an apology over remarks made on the popular TV show Top Gear by his co-presenter Richard Hammond describing Mexicans as ‘lazy, feckless and flatulent’, Clarkson has accused the corporation of having no sense of humour.

Writing in the daily comic the Sun, Clarkson attempted to make the point that without offensive humour, there can be no jokes. He goes on to quote several jokes involving various nationalities, including British.

Then despite the earlier apology Clarkson was at it again claiming, ‘Mexico doesn’t have an Olympic team, because anyone who can run, jump or swim is already across the border.’

Barely amusing to be honest and never a joke.

It appears that Mexicans may well have the last laugh though as a Mexican student in London has instructed lawyers to bring a test case against the Top Gear presenters, demanding that the BBC is taken off air and an investigation is made over the comments by its presenters.

So anyone who has invested their money in the latest fitness or diet DVD fad only to be disappointed with its content, has no-one to blame but themselves.

There is barely a ‘larger’ female involved in a UK soap who has not recognised the opportunity of a cash spinner on the side and succumbed to making yet another video nasty, ‘how I shed my excess weight’, as though the whole idea is something revolutionary.

Fitness DVD’s will invariably end up being touted around Sunday Car Boot sales if they don’t get consigned to the cupboard under the sink with the sandwich toaster and other useless junk that families manage to accumulate.

So anyone who bought and was disappointed with any of the following Ten Worst Rated Fitness DVDs, forget miracles, eat less and exercise more and above all don’t line some overpaid actresses pocket with your hard earned income!

There’s not a lot I usually like about Lily Allen but for once she’s got it right, Susan Boyle from the Britain’s Got Talent show is so overrated, and Lily has at least got the front to air her views.

If nothing else, Lily Allen is certainly original, Susan Boyle on the other hand, is just someone that can copy a tune, the sooner she goes back to where she came from the better for all of us.

She allegedly showed her true colours while staying at a hotel in London when, in front of up to 150 other guests watching the semi-final, stuck her two fingers up to the screen and shouted F*** Off, when Piers Morgan praised the young lad Shaheen Jafargholi’s performance.

Apparently it’s not acceptable to dislike this ‘on the edge’ woman, well tough, I think she’s crap and I’m not alone, she’s just an accident waiting to happen, a monster in the making!

Lily Allen

While normal people are struggling to make ends meet, Lily Allen has spent £2000 on a grown-up ice cream fight, which took place in her Toronto dressing room at the end of her North American tour, according to her blog.

Recently while being interviewed on an American chat show,  Allen admitted being surprised that she was more famous for her wild ways than her singing.  You’d think she would take the hint but it will probably go straight over her head as usual!

Even worse than Lily Allen’s singing is Paula Abdul’s memory after she recently told America’s ABC’s ‘nightlife’, that she has never been drunk in her life, yeah right!

She also claimed that she has not used prescription drugs and offered  her medical records to be checked to prove it.  Obviously, she’s unaware that there is no way that anyone would be able to check her medical records but there are plenty of video’s out there of the woman slurring and acting in a bizarre way.  Here are some of the clips from a previous story;

Only weeks later, after relentless efforts by the purchaser, do we see the celebrities piling the pounds back on and another video gets added to the mass already on our shelves.

The only people who seem to achieve anything out of the DVD’s are the celebrities, who have now made the money from their superb fitness programme and can sit back and forget the exercise regime.

Vicky Entwistle, who plays Janice Battersby in Coronation Street, looked amazing after she revealed her new workout video and who had allegedly gone from a size 16, to a size 6. She claimed to have lost two and a half stone, but now the weight is gradually creeping back on.

Natalie Cassidy, who played Sonia Jackson in Eastenders, released her DVD this year and amazed everyone after going from a size 16, to a size 8.

Her DVD became the best selling exercise DVD of all time as the actress revealed that she had also lost four stone. However, she is just another woman who is now putting the weight back on after the strict exercise regime proved to be too much.

By now we should all know that if you don’t stick to a healthy eating plan and do regular exercise, then you are not going to lose the weight, but I, like many women are just hoping for that one DVD that is going to change our lives forever and give us that fantastic figure just by watching it!

Fern Britton was back on the screen today as her usual bubbly self, the Fern we all know and love, but I still feel she was dishonest about her weight loss.

She had taken a few days off of the ITV programme due to nervous exhaustion after it was revealed that she had a gastric band operation, and had not solely lost the weight due to healthy eating and exercise that she had us believe.

Allegedly she may also get the sack from Ryvita as the face of their product!

She is a lovely person and is very good at her job, but she shouldn’t have misled everyone, which I for one, feel that she did, it wasn’t purely healthy eating and exercise was it!

The ‘Soccer six charity football event’ was held yesterday to raise money for the Samaritans at Millwall Football Club and Amy Winehouse was there to cheer-on her friend Pete Doherty.

Ms. Winehouse was in the usual denim shorts and a checked shirt with her bra on show and the ballet shoes of course.  It was her first wedding anniversary and she had earlier been shown collecting the bouquets of flowers that had been left outside of her home.

Jade Goody was also taking part and probably, for once looked the fittest, healthiest, and most definitely the cleanest out of the trio.  I’m sure we all remember when she took part in the London Marathon and after being stretchered off the course during the race, admitted to not having trained for the event.

Winehouse and Doherty seem inseparable since he has left prison and the Babyshambles front-man confessed to being really busy playing gigs and listening to Amy’s recordings.

When asked about Winehouse, Doherty said she is “great at the moment”, god, what does she look like when she’s not!  He added “She’s recording loads of new stuff.  I kind of took a bit of a back seat.  She said ‘listen to this new song, listen to this new song, record this, record this’.  I’ve got a truckload of some of her stuff and I’m going through it.”  Not sure why  she has to say everything twice! 

Pixie Geldof was also in attendance giving her support along with Jack Tweedy, Bianca Gascoigne, and Nikki Grahame.

Well at least it was for a good cause, but I bet no-one wanted to swap shirts with the lovely Pete! 

She was seen commenting on a singer’s two songs, when in fact, he had one sung one.

In a report in TMZ she was spotted looking “bubbly” after “at least one Martini” at an LA restaurant, only four hours before the show.

She tried to explain by saying “It got very confusing. The producers come up to us in the dark and said, ‘We are not going to have you guys judge after each performer, we are going to have all the performers go once, then twice and at the end critique them.”

She insisted it’s “absolutely not true” when it was reported that she was drunk.

Apparently, the producers have claimed that the shows credibility hadn’t been damaged by Abdul’s mistake.

The couple are on holiday in America and Judy was seen using a walking stick to help her to get into her limousine outside.

According to her spokesman, Judy had twisted ligaments in her knee a few months ago and she is likely to need an operation.  He said “The wheelchair is just a precautionary thing, having come off the plane.  You never know how long you might to walk for at an airport.”

As everybody know, it is an ongoing problem as Richard liked to share on numerous occasions with his audience and always added ‘It’s the same problem Gazza has’, although when Judy gets time to play football I’ll never know!

Thankfully, the couple will be working on the ‘Final’ series of their afternoon chat show this summer as they decided not to renew their contract last year, there is a god!
