Oh, how this story made me laugh! Keith ‘Cheggers’ Chegwin was mobbed this morning while doing a ‘coat of cash dash’ this morning in Plymouth.
Someone had come up with the idea of Cheggers making a 100 yard dash as an advertising promotion for ‘Freeview’, wearing a jacket with £1000 of cash pinned to it in £5 notes.
Unfortunately, Cheggars looked to be more in a rugby scrum than a publicity event as about 200 locals crammed into the Plymouth city centre and stripped him of his notes before he had a chance to do his dash.
Cheggars was reported as looking a little flustered after the incident but eventually saw the funny side of it.
